I have written hundreds of poems, these are just the latest and a few others I’ve managed to toss up here, no particular order. Someday when Publishers Clearing House sends me that check they keep promising, I’m going to hire me a secretary and get all my poems online. Enjoy

Poems about relationships.

Poems about social science.

Poems spiritual.

LAST POEM WRITTEN

Please Don’t Hurt Me

I’m a deer in your headlights

No other way I want to be
In your light

When you look at me
I know it’s right

My hearts a pounding
I know its sounding
Afraid you might see
But there’s noplace to run

All I ask of you
Please be nice
My guard is down
Insides showing
Have no weapon
no disguise
Your anger
Would crush me

Where it goes from here
Isn’t really clear
But we’re not there yet
We’re just here
and now
Only fear
Will take this away

I can’t hurt no one
Please
Don’t hurt me
