Was That Then
Somebody said
Thou nobody knows
They think it so
Because somebody said
and so it is
I can hear the
laughter underground
as they hang the witches from the fences
Wind torn truth
caught in the barbwire
of a make believe fence
rinsed
with the blood of the innocent
Somebody said
that was then
But I ask
What about now
